LEGAL MATERIAL: Some of the worst writing I saw during my years in practice was from prominent attorneys.  Perhaps they were so busy that all they had time to do was submit first draft material. 

The very real risk of a poorly written Brief or Memorandum is that it could lose your case.  Because judges have so much paperwork to wade through,  poorly written material may cause your judge to quickly lose interest or even miss critical points.   In any event, poor writing certainly reflects badly on submitting counsel. 

We will take your rough draft and craft it into the clearest, the strongest and the most persuasive presentation possible.  We may even be able to spot some gaps in reasoning, evidence, or your authorities.  Perhaps we may even be able to suggest additional issues or arguments. Your responsibility is to state the facts, the issues, your arguments, and your authorities.    We do not check the accuracy of facts, evidence or authorities nor do we revise the format of your citations. 

We will format your final document in whatever format you specify with whatever headings, etc. you provide. 

Time is always a critical factor.  However, the more time you’re able to give us the better.  We also recommend that you leave enough time for a thorough rereading of the revised document as a final review. 

RATE: $40 per hour in quarter hour increments.
